Giddiness (PSVT treatment)
65 year old male patient, father of doctor presented in OPD. his chief complaints were difficulty in breathing and giddiness.
On examination BP was 90/60. ECG given below smaller one. He was diagnosed with Paroxysmal supraventricular tachycardia PSVT. we took him in emergency room and Carotid massage was given. but failed. We were ready with defibrillator. but given Adenosine in 6 mg fast push. But still patient was in PSVT. So we again tried 12mg Adenosine and he was still in PSVT. And BP was keep on decreasing, came to 86/62. We decided again to try 12 mg Adenosine. this time PSVT was converted to sinus Rhythm. and bp was 100/70. Saved another life.
